Five random things making me smile this week
One :
glorious blue skies above the marshes on the River Dee this week
making my morning 'power walk' so much nicer.
Two:
Springtime in my garden.
This time last year the garden was given a huge makeover,
so it's been lovely watching out for all the new plants emerging.
Three:
eating the best pizza ever at The Herb Garden with my daughter
on a quick trip up to Newcastle.
I loved the ceiling lamps.
Four:
our son is home from uni and has had Inca doing all sorts of silly things
Five:
No reason.
Just because lambs always make me smile.
Why don't you follow the link and see what everyone else has been getting up to this week.

What wonderful things Kathy!! Your garden looks fabulous and I love the ground view of the flowers. It looks as though your dog is having some fun!!! Of course lambs in springtime are a must aren't they and sure to bring a smile to anyone! Thank you so much as always for joining in! I hope that you have a great weekend! xx
ReplyDeleteThese are such lovely spring time photos you have shared. How nice to have your son home, too. I love the flowers in your garden.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of Inca. The lambs are super cute as lambs always are.
ReplyDeleteI don't fancy dusting all those lampshades!

The sky has been so blue most of this week, it makes such a different doesn't it? Awww! I bet your garden is lovely, we are trying to create one from scratch in our new build, unfortunately we don't have a clue what we are doing. The lampshades are gorgeous, that's great that you managed to get to Newcastle to see your daughter. It's also reassuring that I don't have the only children that do mad things with the dog, who incidentally, never protests ha! Have a lovely week x
ReplyDeleteLambs always make me smile, too. Years ago, the Best Beloved chastised me for referring to them as "baby lambs" on the basis of tautology, so now I use the term just to annoy him! Hope you are enjoying the weekend. x
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, glad you are getting some blue skies at last. The garden looks fab, I do love the spring flower colours :) x
ReplyDeleteFive lovely things, Kathy. Blue skies and spring flowers, lambs and visits from and with loved ones - things to be treasured:)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos Kathy. x
ReplyDeleteA nice selection! I really like that photo of your garden ... and the lambs :) My daughter is home from university too, and she is spending lots of time with the rabbit (who she wants to steal away up to her rental home when she goes back!). Enjoy your weekend! Wendy
